Foremost Insurance for Specialty Homeowners

Foremost Specialty Property insurance is designed for homes that don't qualify for "standard" or "preferred" insurance coverage. Research shows that more than 14 million homes in America fit this criteria. To serve this growing need, Foremost offers four Specialty Property insurance products:

  • BASICS One, a no-frills homeowners policy with named-peril coverage. In the insurance industry, this is called a "dwelling fire" policy. Find out why this policy is also popular with many landlords.
  • BASICS Three, a specialty homeowners policy with comprehensive coverage on the dwelling and actual cash value (ACV) loss settlement. This is a broader kind of "dwelling fire" policy.

  • Classic ACV, a specialty homeowners policy with ACV loss settlement. (Not available in New Mexico. In Virginia, it is a Classic Market Value Policy)
  • Classic CL, a specialty homeowners policy for consumers with credit and/or loss issues.

Our policies are very flexible and you can add optional coverages for almost any situation, from landlord liability to business personal property. We also offer attractive discounts for things like alarm systems and masonry exteriors.
