Below are some frequently asked questions about Foremost PayOnline.

What are my online bill payment options?

If you are insured with any Foremost Insurance Group company, you can make a one-time payment online, enroll to view your bills online or sign up for automatic payments.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept payments from checking and savings accounts and Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards.

What information do I need to submit a payment?

Is it possible for me to authorize an electronic payment for more than one policy?

Yes, each payment needs to be submitted separately.

Do I have to pre-arrange with my bank or notify them ahead of time to use Foremost PayOnline?

No bank set up or pre-notification is required.

Is there a service charge for using Foremost PayOnline?

Not at this time.

What is the cut-off time for posting a payment?

Any payment submitted after 6:30 p.m. Central time or 7:30 p.m. Eastern time will be considered received the following business day.

How quickly will my payment be applied to my policy?

Please allow 3-5 business days for your policy to reflect the payment.

Do I have to provide my e-mail address?

It’s recommended, but not required. We recommend it so we can send you an e-mail confirmation of your payment.

Will you send me a confirmation of my payment?

Yes. An e-mail confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address you provide.

The only confirmation we send for credit card payments will be sent through e-mail. If you choose not to provide us with an e-mail address and make your payment with a credit card, will not send you confirmation of your payment.

What if I have questions about my payment?

Please contact your Foremost representative or to contact the Foremost Billing Department applicable to your policy, call the toll-free number listed on your latest insurance bill.

How do I change or stop a one-time payment I’ve submitted?

Please contact your Foremost representative, or contact the Foremost Billing Department applicable to your policy by calling the toll-free number listed on your latest insurance bill.

Can I make an online payment if my policy is cancelled?

No. Making an online payment will not reinstate coverage on a cancelled policy. For assistance, please contact your Foremost representative.

Can I sign up to have my premiums paid automatically through automatic withdrawals at my bank?

Yes. You can enroll to have your policy payments automatically withdrawn from your designated account when due.

Can I sign up to have you send my bills to me by e-mail instead of by U.S. postal mail?


My mailing address is outside of the United States. What do I enter in the ZIP code field?

Enter 99999 in the ZIP code field to create an account or make an online payment.

Do I need a User ID and password?

When making one-time payments, there is no need to create an account. However, to enroll for online billing or automatic payments, a user id and password are needed.

How secure is my payment and personal information?

We use VeriSign’s industry-standard secure server software (SSL) for all transactions. For your protection, all of your transaction information is encrypted when it travels over the Internet.

What browser is best for viewing Foremost PayOnline?

We strongly recommend that you use the latest version of your browser software for maximum security.
