Emergency due-date extension for flooding areas in Iowa
Heavy rains continue to cause flooding in certain areas of Iowa . As a result, customers in the affected areas may need additional time to submit policy payments. To provide some relief, for billing policies, we're extending the period by which you have to pay your balance due on all Farmers Insurance Group®, Bristol West, Foremost, Farmers Life, Auto, Fire, Personal Umbrella, Workers' Compensation and Commercial policies.

In selected areas, any bill due between May 25 and June 30, will have its deadline extended 60 days from the original due date of the bill. For Life policies whose grace period will expire between May 25 and June 30, the grace period will be extended 60 days.

To be eligible for balance-due date extension, customers must reside in the counties listed here: Adair, Adams, Allamakee, Appanoose, Audubon, Benton, Black Hawk, Boone, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Carroll, Cass, Cedar, Cerro Gordo, Chickasaw, Clarke, Clayton, Crawford, Clinton, Dallas, Delaware, Dubuque, Davis, Decatur, Des Moines, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Fremont, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Harrison, Howard, Humboldt, Henry, Iowa, Jackson, Jasper, Johnson, Jones, Jefferson, Keokuk, Kossuth, Lee, Linn, Louisa, Lucas, Marion, Marshall, Mitchell, Monona, Montgomery, Muscatine, Mahaska, Madison, Mills, Monroe, Page, Polk, Palo Alto, Pochahontas, Pottawattamie, Poweshiek, Ringgold, Scott, Story, Shelby , Tama, Taylor , Union, Van Buren, Wapello, Warren , Webster, Winneshiek, Worth, Wright, Washington, Wayne, and Winnebago.
